Workshop on Labour Economics 2019

The IAAEU and the Chair of Personnel Economics at Trier University are pleased to announce the 11th Workshop on Labour Economics, to be held on April 12-13, 2019. The workshop aims to facilitate the networking of young scientists and to promote the exchange of research ideas and results across a range of fields, including labour economics and personnel economics, health economics, education economics, demography and migration. Both theoretical and empirically oriented contributions are highly welcome. We particularly encourage Ph.D. students to submit their research.

Each paper will be allocated up to 45 minutes, to be divided between the presentation and a discussion. We aim to assign senior workshop participants as discussants to papers presented by PhD students.

The Call for Papers can be found here. Please submit electronic versions of extended abstracts or full papers not later than January 25, 2019 to Diese E-Mail-Adresse ist vor Spambots geschützt! The IAAEU will honour the best paper presented at the workshop with an endowed Best Paper Award. Further, we offer the possibility of publishing selected contributions in the IAAEU Discussion Papers Series. A conference fee of 95€ will be charged to all participants. The fee will cover the costs for lunches and beverages during the workshop, course materials and the conference dinner.
